FLB FINAL POWER RANKINGS

1.) CHICAGO CUBS (18-4) - The Cubs finish atop the FLB and will be the top seed for the FLB playoffs. They have exceeded all expectations this year and will look to carry their strong success into the playoffs as they search for their second FLB Championship. They will enjoy a bye week this week as they await the winner of the wild card matchup.

(Last weeks rank: 1)

2.) COLORADO ROCKIES (15-7) - Once again, this team does not finish the season with the best record. Still though, they lead the FLB in points scored and in many owners minds, they remain the team to beat in the FLB Playoffs. After winning the title in back to back seasons, this is perhaps the best Rockies team we've ever seen. Their first test will come in the form of the AL champion Twins.

(Last weeks rank: 2)

3.) MINNESOTA TWINS (16-6) - Vigneron's team has shown resilience and has continued to find ways to win all season. They captured their second AL crown and will have the 2 seed for the FLB playoffs. Despite their overwhelming success this season, there are many owners still questioning their ability to win come playoff time. But Vigneron thrives in this role, and don't be surprised if the 2010 champ shocks the world once again.

(Last weeks rank: 3)

4.) BOSTON RED SOX (14-8) - Despite an extremely inconsistent and frustrating season, the three time champs have posted a 14-8 record for the third straight season. They will have the 4 seed and the first wild card spot for the FLB playoffs. If this team can put things together they certainly have the talent to contend for a title. First though, they must get through a red hot Cincinnati team in a sibling rivalry showdown in the wild card game.

(Last weeks rank: 4)

5.) CINCINNATI REDS (13-9) - Despite a rocky season, this team continued to battle and have put themselves in the final playoff spot. Led by the league's most lethal lineup, this team could be extremely dangerous should they wind up in the playoffs. Storti is confident as ever as he looks to take down his older brother and earn his first career playoff win.

(Last weeks rank: 5)

6.) SEATTLE MARINERS (12-10) - A very tough season in which Seattle endured dramatic ups and downs has finally come to an end. Unfortunately, they came up just short on a remarkable comeback effort after starting the season 0-6. After having extreme success in 2014 and starting this season as the overwhelming favorites, this team did not live up to their high expectations and had an incredibly disappointing season. Expect a lot of activity and movement from Freadman in the offseason in an effort to regain their success in 2016.

(Last weeks rank: 6)

7.) NEW YORK YANKEES (9-13) - A poor start to the season was too much to overcome for this team as they will miss the playoffs for the third straight season. They certainly ended the season strong though, as they won five of their last seven. It was just too little too late in an extremely competitive league. The key for this team moving forward is to get healthy and look to establish better consistency, especially from their franchise players. A frustrating season for the Yanks, but certainly a lot to look forward to with this squad.

(Last weeks rank: 7)

8.) KANSAS CITY ROYALS (9-13) - This team saw themselves get off to an incredibly hot start and were considered one of the teams to beat in the early part of the season. Then something happened and everything changed for the worse. A combination of inconsistencies from the front office, key injuries, and lack of production, lead to the Royals' collapse in the second half of the season. The commissioner sat Ringler down last week to talk about his future with the FLB. After a long talk, it does appear that Ringler will be back in 2016. After the meeting he had this message for the league.. "The Kansas City Royals are guaranteeing a championship in 2016."

(Last weeks rank: 8 )

9.) NEW YORK METS (3-19) - 2016 can't come soon enough for this team. Another disastrous season for Teggi as he finished with just a career low 3 wins this season. Lot of questions about the direction of this club moving forward. After back to back 9th place seasons, it looks like it may be time to bring in some youth and rebuild this roster from the ground up. However, the front office doesn't see eye to eye and aren't sold on that direction. Either way, something has to change as things clearly aren't working out the way they are now.

(Last weeks rank: 9)

10.) SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS (1-21) - It was a very long debut season for new owner Tyler Barry as he was given a tough task. This team has a lot of young talent and a lot to look forward to in the future. It will likely be at least a couple years before this roster fully takes shape. The focus is 100% on the future at this point and they must continue to trust the process. Only up for this team in 2016.

(Last weeks rank: 10)
